Women Together Global is committed to creating a new world for women and girls. Our mission is to empower them with the economic independence, knowledge, confidence, and social networks needed to transform their futures together.

How It All Began
Women Together Global was founded by Dr. Anu Anandaraja, a physician and public health specialist who spent two decades working within traditional aid models. She saw firsthand how these systems often failed to reach the women they aimed to serve.
In 2018, she partnered with grassroots women in Malawi to build a different kind of model — one grounded in partnership, local knowledge, and collective leadership. What began as a single collaboration has grown into a global movement across Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and New Mexico, empowering hundreds of women and girls to change their lives and communities.
Our Impact
Since 2018, Women Together Global has supported over 300 women and 200 girls across 15 communities.
They have launched
35 cooperative small businesses
19 climate smart farms
12 village banking groups
and trained over 350 women in business management and financial literacy.
Women in our programs report a 60 percent increase in household economic empowerment and an 80 percent increase in personal confidence within five years of joining.
Across every country we serve, women are leading enterprises, shaping communities, and proving that when women rise, the world rises with them.
