WOMEN TOGETHER
REDEFINING WHAT'S POSSIBLE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS
Women Together empowers women and girls to achieve the economic independence, confidence, and solidarity to transform their futures together.
Through peer to peer skills transfer, education, access to land and funding to launch cooperative businesses, women and girls are supported to build a better world for themselves and their communities.
Women Together emerged from the understanding that the communities thrive when women are valued and empowered.
For two decades, the founding members of Women Together worked in traditional models of global health and development, and witnessed the wasted resources and lack of progress that result when the social and economic barriers facing women are ignored, and their immense skills, knowledge, and capacity are overlooked.
The Women Together model was built in partnership with grassroots women-led organizations in Malawi, New Mexico and New Zealand to center women's knowledge and lived experience in the development of locally-relevant programs that empower women and girls, uplift communities, and preserve our natural environments.
